2008 Presidential Candidate Matching Quiz
Holla. Say what you will, but I love Hillary and am elated she won NH. Vacation has been good, lots of medical work for Peace Corps which is KILLING ME but it's getting done slowly but surely. Back to school Sunday, which I'm glad about. I'm not bored to tears, I like being home but I'm ready to hang out with friends again and see my last semester through.

I am so over school. At the beginning of the semester I feigned to believe that I would be ready to leave college at the end of the year but, at this point, I cannot stop thinking about graduation, moving on and doing something newer and cooler than FINALS. I'm definitely ready to move onto a new stage in my life, I'm over the immaturity of college and, in a lot of respects, over the type of people you find here. I feel like, for years, people tell you college is great because you meet the friends you'll have forever. Having met those people and feeling secure in their place in my life, I have little reason to be here. I want to graduate. And live in a yurt.
Christmas was good, I LOVEEE the snow and peace and quiet. Got lots of nice stuff for Christmas, it was a weird Christmas because I don't really need too much since I'll be going far away in not too long. I'm going down to Stamford, CT for NYE and I'm real excited. Went to Long Island last year and it was a blast, so I'm gunnin for a repeat! I've been seeing a guy that's frat brothers with the party host and was hoping he'd be up but doesn't look like that will happen. So I'm taking apps to be my midnight kiss.
This semester will hopefully be awesome. Start if off with a Stamford NYE, got a Spice Girls extravaganza in February in NYC then me and some friends are renting a condo at Saddleback for Spring Break. I hope its memorable, that's all I ask for.

It's been almost a year since I last wrote in here and obviously a lot has happened. I'll spare the details, but suffice it so say that I do want to reclaim a place to record my life and I'm doing it now in an open arena.
The biggest news is that I've been accepted in to the Peace Corps. No word on exactly where I'll be placed yet, that'll come in a few months after I've been approved legally and medically, but I was nominated for a TEFL program in Eastern Europe or the Caucasus. Sneaky as I am, I am also working at Peace Corps headquarters in the EMA division (Europe, Med. and Asia) and my only job has been to compile a spreadsheet of countries in that region, their 2008 departure dates and their programs. So knowing I'll leave in September and do TEFL, I've narrowed it down to Azerbaijan, Ukraine or Macedonia. All of which are amazing and unbelievable. So hopefully nothing changes too drastically.
Senior year is going well-- it's weird to think how fast college has gone. I'm so sorry for being so out of contact with everyone for so long, but I'm back in it now.
